CAD and Custom Commands Update
Release notes for the new ER:LC CAD workflow and Custom Command Studio.
What it does
- Added separate role-locked Responder CAD and Dispatcher CAD pages.
- Added ER:LC player claiming, responder statuses, assignments, handled incidents, panic calls, agency configuration, and incident-only map markers.
- Added a dashboard Custom Command Studio for non-slash prefix commands.
- Added Message, Embed, and Both response modes, sectioned editing, Discord preview, permissions, channel restrictions, placeholders, embed fields, media, and link buttons.
How to configure it
- Reopen CAD configuration and confirm responder roles, dispatcher roles, agencies, and the panic alert channel are saved.
- Test Responder CAD with a member who has only a responder role.
- Test Dispatcher CAD with a member who has only a dispatcher role.
- Open Configure → Custom Commands, create a small test command, choose its response mode, and save it.
- Run the test prefix command in Discord and confirm its role and channel restrictions behave as expected.
Good to know
- CAD page access is role-only; owner and administrator status does not bypass it.
- Responder locations and CAD chat are not part of the current CAD interface.
- Custom Commands are prefix commands and do not appear in Discord slash-command autocomplete.
- Keep operational testing limited to a private staff channel before enabling a command for everyone.
Common check
If something does not work, check these first: Horizon has the needed Discord permissions, the bot role is high enough, the channel still exists, and the right staff roles are selected in Configure.
